What: A Super Session of Women Coloring
When: Sunday, January 18, 2015, 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Where: Anne’s Place – Directions
Program:
We had a lovely session of Women Coloring at the end of 2014 and want to make this a regular event!
For this Super Session, we invite you to bring a small dish made with super foods. We’re all trying to grow in good ways so Woman’s Day’s approach seems a perfect fit: “Eat better for good.” Here’s Woman’s Day’s list of super foods.
Want to come over and color?!
We’ll have coffee and tea, filtered water from the tap, and a potluck of super foods. If you have special food needs, feel free to bring food servings for yourself so that you can feel comfortable.
What to bring:
- Yourself.
- Your own crayons if you would like, but I have plenty.
- Your own coloring books if Barbie and Disney princesses aren’t your fav.
- A small super foods dish to share – if you would like to! I am not a cook and would feel overwhelmed by this “requirement” to attend. Please know it is not a requirement! And if no one brings anything, I’ll have plenty of Lara Bars on hand. We’ll be okay!
- Personal food or beverages if you would like.
What to do:
Email Anne Giles at anne@annegiles.com or call her at 540-808-6334 to reserve a space. Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendance is limited to 14 participants.
Special notes:
- Anne’s Place is an alcohol-free space.
- Anne has two indoor-outdoor cats that reside primarily upstairs and keep to themselves. Cleanliness is maintained to help those with cat allergies be as comfortable as possible.
- If you smoke, please use the side porch and the smokers’ receptacle.
- This session of A Woman’s Life Work is a private event, invitation-only, and for adults only.
- Anne attends a support group meeting so will need to close the house at 5:30 PM to allow for drive time. It is an open meeting and all are welcome.
